On April 11th, Mrs. Lorig and the University of Illinois Extension Office helped to organize a day for the elementary students to participate in STEM (science, technology, engineering, mathematics) activities. They rotated to various STEM centers and had much fun while learning!

On May 1st, the kindergarten and first grades visited the Burpee Museum in Rockford. It was a fun and they learned about so many interesting things. The classes would also like to say a big "Thank You" to The Shirt Shack for donating our t-shirts!

Annually, the Stephenson Co. Farm Bureau sponsors a student poster contest. The Stephenson Co. Soil and Water Conservation District board members pick three winners from all submissions. One of the winners this year was one of our 1st grade students, Brantley E!! Congratulations!
