Homecoming Football Update:
That's A Bronco Win! The Varsity Football team takes home a huge 63-14 victory over Galva this afternoon! Congrats on the win!
UPDATE: JV Football will now play @ South Beloit on 10/2 @ 5:30. Bus leaves at 4pm from OHS.

If you can't make it out to watch the homecoming football game today against Galva at 1:00, Big Radio is broadcasting live on K92.1 FM on the radio and online. #GoBroncos


The homecoming parade starts in half an hour at 4:45 pm. If you're in town, come outside and see the hard work the kids have put into their floats... theme is "breakfast of champions". Photo is the map of the parade route.


Please mark your calendars! We are having our third annual community forum on Wednesday, Oct. 11th. It will take place from 5:30 - 7:00 pm and begin with a presentation by Superintendent Mrs. Julie Katzenberger, followed by focus groups. All community members are welcome!


High School Volleyball Update:
Tonight's normally streamed game on NFHS is experiencing technical difficulties at this time. It is not able to be streamed online. Feel free to come in and support your broncos as we pack the house for Homecoming against Aquin!

Last Friday, 9/22, the elementary students participated in 'Goodies with Grands' day. The PTO sponsored the event, where they got to enjoy activities and snacks with those people who are grand in their lives!


Just a reminder, the Penny Wars end tomorrow afternoon! Pennies are worth 1 point, silver coins as negative points. Strategy counts! It's all in good fun & competition, but the proceeds will go toward buying supplies for the Stephenson County Veterans Assistance Commission.


GAME CHANGE:
The Junior High Football game scheduled for tomorrow 9/26, is now moved to Wednesday 9/27. The time will remain the same at 4:30, but the date has changed.

Don't forget! This afternoon at the Other Place in Orangeville, the Post Prom is hosting a meat raffle starting at 12:30. Please come out to help raise money for the post prom activities.


FYI - We have an addition to our schedule! Junior high volleyball will play this Monday (9/25/23) at home against Forreston at 5:30 pm. Come out and cheer them on during homecoming week!

Greetings from the Orangeville Grade School Library and The Orangeville Lions Club. Together, we are looking for donations to put a free book into the hands of every student PreK through 5th grade. As of today, we have enough money for October, November and December. If you are interested in donating to this program, you can mail a check to Cindy Wells at the school labeled: Scholastic Books, or you can drop off your donation to the High School/Grade School Offices. It's homecoming next week! The HS theme is "Breakfast of Champions", and the classes will compete all next week for the homecoming trophy. There are HS dress up themes that the JH is welcome to participate in, and there is a different set of dress up days for the elementary.
