Yesterday, the staff had a meet-and-greet with the new JH/HS principal for next school year, Mrs. Amanda Ingram. HS student council members helped us welcome Mrs. Ingram, as well as a couple other new faces for next year that were able to attend, Ms. Uli Dornhagen (science) and Mrs. Nicole Broge (English).

The USDA has started a new nutrition program to help families buy food for their school-age children during the summer, called SUN Bucks. If you are automatically eligible, you receive a letter soon. Sharing once again for our friends at the Workforce Connection: They are hosting a Job Fair at the Boys and Girls Club tomorrow, 5/23, from 2-5 pm. Many jobs and employers will be represented there, and on-site interviews are possible. Check it out!
Yesterday, Mrs. McKay's 5th grade class went on a field trip to Midway Village in Rockford. They had fun visiting and experiencing the various exhibits and learning about history (and stopping for ice cream afterward).
