We have a normal full day today, but there will be no school for Orangeville School District tomorrow, Wednesday, Nov. 22, through Friday, Nov. 24, 2023, for the holiday. We hope you have a wonderful break to enjoy all the people and things you are thankful for.

Last night at the Forreston Tournament, Whitney Sullivan met (and surpassed) the 1000 point mark in her basketball career at OHS!! Congratulations Whitney! You have forever joined an elite group of Broncos from over the years. #BroncoProud

The junior class is selling Fun Factory Sweet Shoppe Fudge! This has been a great fundraiser for them in the past, so if you would like to order again this year, see your favorite junior. Orders and money are due Tuesday, 11/28, and delivery will be December 15th.

We have finally run out of the "O" window decals, but Servant Leadership is selling new car stickers! They look like the graphic, with white background, size approx. 4.5 x 2.5 inches. They are $5 each and can be purchased in the HS office or from Mrs. MacKenzie.

The Dave's Coffee Cakes are arriving Monday, November 20th. If you ordered a coffee cake online to be delivered to the school, you can pick it up Monday at 3:00. If you have any questions, please contact Mrs. MacKenzie at emackenzie@orangevillecusd.com or call the school.

Yesterday morning we completed both our bus evacuation and lockdown drills. Both drills went very well and I am proud of the way our students handled themselves.

Friday Football Update: I8FA has released their All Division players and Orangeville's very own have made the list! A big congratulations to the HSFB on their honors. Go Broncos!

Sharing for our friends the Orangeville Lions Club: Next Saturday, Nov. 18th, is the Home for the Holidays Craft and Vendor Show, from 9 am-2 pm. It is being held at the school, and entrance is at the HS main doors. Suggested $2 donation for admittance for those over age 12.

This is a reminder that tomorrow, 11/7/23, is another 1:15 early dismissal day for students. This is due to Orangeville School District holding the second and final night of parent-teacher conferences, which take place from 3:00 - 6:00 pm.

This Wednesday, Nov. 8th is National Signing Day. We would like to announce that our OHS senior Whitney Sullivan will be signing her letter of intent to play basketball for the University of Tulsa! We invite the public to attend this ceremony, beginning at 6 pm in the library, to witness and help celebrate this accomplishment.

This Thursday, November 9th, Orangeville School District will be having our Veterans Day Program, starting at 9 am. Please join us in thanking our local veterans. There will be donuts, coffee, and fellowship following the program. Don't forget to "fall back" one hour this evening before you go to bed. Daylight saving ends at 2 am, and you don't want to miss out on that extra hour tomorrow (even if you're just using it to sleep, lol)!
