We are finally getting some gorgeous weather this spring. Yesterday the 5th grade and their 2nd grade book buddies took advantage of the nice day to go outside and read together. What a great idea! Where is your favorite place to read?

It's School Nurse Appreciation Day!! If you see these lovely ladies today, say hello. Thank you to Nurse Molly and Nurse Torey for checking our boo-boos and taking care of us when we're sick, along with all the other things you do in a single day. We couldn't do it without you!

Reminder: The art show is tomorrow night, Wednesday, 5/7/25, in conjunction with the JH/HS music concert. The concert takes place in the fieldhouse starting at 6 pm. The art show will be in the cafeteria following the concert. Please come out and support Orangeville Fine Arts!

Prom 2025 is in the books! Congratulations to King Blake and Queen Nadalee! We also had a bus-full of students travel to post prom in Madison. The staff at Urban Air told the chaperones our group was one of the most polite and respectful groups they have had. Way to go broncos!


This is Teacher (and staff) Appreciation Week! Each of these people pictured, and those who missed out on picture day, help make a difference in a child's life on a daily basis. We could not educate the students without all of these caring staff each day, working together. Thank you for all you do!

On April 4th, the grade school held their 3rd quarter awards ceremony. Congratulations to all of our recipients!


Thank you to those who came out to donate at our NHS blood drive on Wednesday. Fifteen people attempted, and we were able to successfully collect 11 pints of blood to help local recipients! Thank you also to the Rock River Valley Blood Center who worked with us on this project.

The OHS annual FFA/Ag plant sale starts tomorrow (5/2/25)! They will be open 3:00 - 6:30 pm at the greenhouse, and again on Saturday (5/3) from 8:00 am - 4:00 pm. There are many plants to choose from, including vegetables and flowers. Please come check it out and help support the program!

Elementary Parents: If you ordered something from the Art to Remember fundraiser, they are scheduled to arrive by the end of this week. Items will be sorted and distributed next week. Thank you for supporting the art department!

During Earth Week last Thursday, the kindergarten and first grade classes had a special guest come to teach them about weather patterns and spring weather trends. Chief Meteorologist Candice King at Channels 17 and 39 was our visitor! Thank you for teaching us about weather!

We are a little belated, but yesterday was School Bus Driver Appreciation Day! Thank you to our drivers Mr. Lauren E., Mr. Dave J., Mr. Ryan S., and Mr. Jerry S. We thank you for all you do, getting our kiddos safely to and from school and events daily!

Today is also Administrative Professionals Day, so we would like to thank our school secretaries, Miss Tonya and Miss Rachel! Thank you for everything you do for the students, staff, and school!

Don't forget, tomorrow evening (4/23/25) the PTO and Discovery Center are sponsoring a family science night in the cafeteria from 5:30-7:00 pm! This is a fun and educational night with activities for your children to learn about outer space. We hope to see you there!
