Today's (3/20) away baseball and softball contests at AFC are cancelled due to cold temps and snow on their field. The schools are searching for a compatible date for a possible reschedule at a later time. Please share with anyone who had planned to travel down to the games.
The OHS home softball and baseball games have been cancelled for today (3/19) due to weather. The baseball game vs. S. Beloit will not be rescheduled due to incompatible open calendar dates. The softball game vs. Warren-Stockton may be rescheduled in the future. Thank you.

Next week we are celebrating FFA Week! There are fun themes for dress-up each day, and all grades are welcome to participate, not just the high school! However, any HS students planning to drive a tractor on Thursday must hold a drivers' license and permission slip signed.
Last Wednesday, all staff had the opportunity to meet Mr. Travis Hartman, who will be our Orangeville elementary principal and district transportation liaison next school year. Though he does not begin here until July, we look forward to him becoming a part of our team!
At the end of next month, on April 30th, the National Honor Society is sponsoring a blood drive at the school with the Rock River Valley Blood Center. This will take place 2 - 6 pm, and all blood types are needed! Sign up by scanning the QR code or contact NHS advisor Kim Lorig.

Last week, Mrs. CJ had two "impossible shot" winners in the same day... and today we had another 3rd grader make it! Congratulations to Alex E., who got the chance at the impossible shot by showing good effort and responsibility, and demonstrating our 'Beyond the Bronco' way.
To kick off their study of fractions and Colonial times, Mrs. Brown’s 4th graders learned how wheat gets from grain to flour. They enjoyed following a recipe to make “Bread in a Bag”, and they thought their bread was delicious. We may have some future bakers here!
Congratulations to senior Addy W. , who signed her Letter of Intent to play softball at Wisconsin Lutheran College next year! She played softball on area club teams as well as for for our OHS Broncos, and we know she will bring that same work ethic to her new WLC Warriors family!

Mrs. CJ offers the Almost Impossible Shot to students at the end of her K-5 PE classes. Winners get to choose the PE activity the next day. We don't have many achieve this accomplishment during the year... but yesterday we had TWO! Congratulations to Delaney and Bryden!
