Toby Golembiewski...
It's hard to try an encompass such a larger-than-life personality in a few words.
Everyone knows "Coach G". While he looked like a big gruff guy, once you met him, you knew he was much more. He was a jokester, and loved to razz people, and give them nicknames... staff and kids alike. You never knew what kind of music you'd hear coming from the gym, but there was always something crazy and fun going on in there. He could also be serious when needed, and you'd sometimes learn life lessons without realizing it when talking to him. He loved his family, the outdoors, and football (and teaching and cheering kids in all kinds of sports). He worked at Orangeville for 28 years, and touched so, so many lives in that time. His smile and the twinkle in his eye will be greatly missed, and our hearts and our building will seem a bit more empty without him.
