The following are scholarships available to Orangeville Students. 

Hard copies of scholarship applications can be found in the LMC or by seeing Mr. Moore.

Any organizations wishing to have their scholarship posted here should contact OHS guidance counselor Mr. Chris Moore at cmoore@orangevillecusd.com

“Due 2 weeks prior to the upcoming semester” Gene Haas Foundation Scholarship This scholarship is through Highland Community College.  It is open to students pursuing post-secondary education in CNC milling at Highland.  Applications are available in Mr. Moore’s office and the LMC. multiple $1,000 and $500 available
Nov. 15, 2018 Elks National Foundation Applications can be filled out online at http://www.elks.org/scholars/scholarships/mvs.cfm (500) 4-year scholarships, monetary amount varies
Nov. 15, 2018 Hagan Scholarship Foundation All students are eligible to apply. Details can be found at www.hsfmo.org $6,000 per semester
Jan. 1, 2019 Teach Outdoors, Inc. All students may apply. Applications available in LMC or Mr. Moore’s office. $500
Jan. 3, 2019 Mr. & Mrs. George W. Taylor Foundation Scholarship Open to all students interested in a career in engineering, going to the University of Minnesota.  Details can be found at http://z.umn.edu/csetaylor Full ride scholarship worth $180,000+

Jan. 18, 2019 Bright Future Scholarship Open to female high school seniors of Hispanic/Latino descent in Boone, Winnebago, Stephenson, or JoDaviess Counties. Go to http://www.ywcanwil.org/ywca-leader-luncheon for more information. (2) $1,500

Feb. 22, 2019 Illinois Chemical Education Foundation Open to all students interested in becoming chemists, chemical engineers, environmental engineers, or high school chemistry teachers. Information can be found in the LMC or Mr. Moore’s office. $2,000
